Matthew L. Bell, GIT

Project Geoscientist

Matt’s background includes experience in a variety of geologic settings, with a wide range of study goals and challenges, from radiological contamination sites in New Jersey to abandoned coal mines in West Virginia. At Meiser & Earl, Inc. Matt brings experience in aqueous geochemistry, surface water-groundwater interactions, geographic information systems (GIS), and geomorphology. Matt currently uses his skills to support clients in the water resources, mining, and municipal/residual waste sectors. Matt took part in academic research during both his undergraduate and graduate educations. His graduate research focused on inorganic carbon fluxes from abandoned Appalachian coal mines. He also provided technical assistance to a project identifying and predicting landslides throughout the state of West Virginia.
